New Zealand

Yesterday was the 5th. Today is the 7th. The great thing about the date line (an imaginary line in the middle of the Pacific Ocean) is that you can actually go back in time by crossing it. That is unless you take my approach and cross it in the wrong direction.

Today I arrive into Auckland. I have thrown away all my winter clothes in order to meet with the stingy plane bag allowance rules, under the misguided assumption that it is now summer in New Zealand. I can comfortably assert that I got rained on more today than in 5 months in South America.
